Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") outline the rules and regulations for the Mortgage Contest ("Contest") organized by Compass Credit Union ("Organizer").

Eligibility

The Contest is open to both existing and new members of Compass Credit Union who are of legal age in Manitoba.

Employees of the Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

Contest Period

The Contest will start on June 11, 2024, and conclude on October 11, 2024, at 6:00 PM.

The prize draw will take place on October 15, 2024.

How to Enter

$5000 Prize Draw

To enter the $5000 prize draw, you can:

1. Obtain a mortgage for a new purchase. (unlimited entries, 1 per mortgage)
2. Transfer an existing mortgage from another financial institution. (unlimited entries, 1 per mortgage)
3. Renew your existing Compass mortgage (all renewals in 2024 will automatically be entered). (unlimited entries, 1 per renewal)
4. Draw equity from your existing Compass mortgage (minimum draw of $25,000). (unlimited entries, 1 per equity draw)

$1000 Prize Draw

To enter the $1000 prize draw, you can:

1. Refer someone to Compass for a mortgage (they must complete a full mortgage application to qualify as a referral). (unlimited entries, 1 per referral)
2. Like, comment, share, and follow us on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and X). Look for the $1,000 draw post to like, comment and share. (up to 3 entries, 1 per social media platform) 

$500 Prize Draw (New Member)

To enter the $500 prize draw, you can:

1. Become a new Compass Credit Union member. (1 entry)

$500 Prize Draw (New Member Referral)

To enter the $500 prize draw, you can:

1. Refer someone to become a new Compass Credit Union member, new membership must be opened to qualify. (unlimited entries, 1 per referral)
