D’Arcy Barker

I manage D’Arcy Barker Money Management Counsel, a financial planning firm that I founded in 1992 and continue to manage in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.
I obtained my B.Sc. from Brandon University (Major: Zoology) in 1991. In 1997, I obtained my Chartered Financial Planning designation from Canadian Institute of Financial Planners. In 1999, I obtained my Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) designation from the Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
I enjoy volunteering in my community, and have served in roles including Division 2 Governor for Toastmasters International, President of Kiwanis Club of Brandon, Lt. Governor for Western Canada District in Kiwanis International, National Council VP and National Policy Director for a Federal Political Party, Director for Westman Kiwanis Court Inc. and Brandon Odd Fellows 1983 Inc. (low-income, fully-accessible housing projects), Director for Army Navy and Air Force Unit 10, and Chief Financial Officer for Funds for Furry Friends (national animal rescue based in Brandon, MB).
I have been a member of Compass Credit Union Limited since 1990 and a member of the Board of Directors since December 1994. I have served on the Credit Committee, Nominating Committee, Education and Compliance Committee, Policy Committee, and Chief Executive Officer Search Committee. I have been on the Executive of the Board since 2000 in either the role of Secretary or President.
Working with a strong team of Board Members, and extremely dedicated staff, Compass continues to serve Western Manitoba members in a fiscally prudent and socially responsible manner. I am proud to be part of that team and I ask for your support.
Allan Hall

I have been a Credit Union Director for over 20 years, first with Erickson Credit Union and now Compass Credit Union. Over that time, I have acted as the Chairman of the Board, as well as a member of the Nomination Committee and the Education Committee. I have completed all of the required levels of education for a Credit Union Director as well as other courses and seminars.
My personal interests include golf, fishing and camping with my family. I also spent time as a volunteer with Rockin the Fields - Minnedosa and the Minnedosa chapter of Delta Waterfowl. I have worked for the last 10 years as a Manager for Heritage Co-op in their Lumber Division. This experience has given me a strong insight into the management of a business as well as Strategic Planning and direction.
Sue Hargreaves

As a successful business owner, I have honed my strategic planning and financial management skills, ensuring that my operations run smoothly and efficiently.
I am a strong advocate for fostering respectful workplace practices and maintain a strong work ethic in all that I do. In addition to my impressive professional achievements, I am deeply committed to giving back to my community. I have served on various boards and have a keen understanding of the commitment and dedication needed to make a positive impact. I am a collaborative team player who values building relationships with my colleagues and shareholders alike.
In my free time, I indulge my passion for curling, golfing, photography, and volunteering at Brandon Seniors for Seniors Inc. I cherish spending quality time with my friends, family, and beloved granddaughter.
Irvin Sanchez

My name is Irvin Sanchez, I was born in Honduras and moved to Canada when I was 22 years old. I have been a member of Compass Credit Union formerly known as Crocus Credit Union since May 2017. I feel proud to be a member of one of the greatest local financial institutions of our city, Brandon.
I like to support our local businesses so we can invest in the growth of our city which has been rapidly growing and changing for the better in different aspects such as education, health system, safety, and economy.
On my professional experience; I have been working in the food processing industry for 12 years. I worked at Maple Leaf foods for almost 5 years as a meat cutter, where for 2 years I serviced as the health and safety representative for the kill floor area, I also was a member of the health and safety committee board of Maple Leaf for 1 year. Currently I work at McCain Foods where I started in June 2017.
On the personal matter, I like to volunteer in social activities, for example I volunteer on the Honduras winter pavilion in 2014 and 2015. I like to spend some free time watching movies and tv shows. I like to listen to music and read articles, political matters, and biographies of relevant people around the world.
