Message to Our Members
We have implemented a screening process for each member that enters our branch, during this time we are only allowing 2 people into the branch at a time. All members will be asked the following questions:
-Are you currently required to be in self-isolation
-Have you traveled outside of the province in the last 14 days?
-Have you been experiencing any cold or flu like symptoms (fever, sore throat, cough, difficulty breathing)?
If the spread of the virus continues to get worse and you are no longer comfortable visiting the branch, most service such as bill payments and transfer can be completed over the phone at no charge during this time. If you are unable to come into the branch, their are alternate forms available such as debit and credit cards.
Changes in hours of operation
Due to the COVID19 pandemic and the state of emergency issued by the Government of Manitoba, our Erickson and Brandon branches will not be open on Saturdays until further notice as of March 23rd.
We would like to thank our members for their patience and understanding during this temporary change in branch hours in an effort to keep our members, staff, and communities safe and healthy.
Compass Credit Union is making the health and safety of our employees and their families, our members and our communities a priority. In order to maintain a safe environment in our branches, our employees have all been advised to follow the guidelines set out by various government bodies. It is important to stay informed through official health agencies in relation to how we can all help to slow the spread of the virus. For specific updates and information please visit https://manitoba.ca/covid19/
Specifically, common surfaces are being sanitized on a regular basis. We encourage our employees to wash their hands regularly and practice safe social distancing including avoiding direct contact with others such as shaking hands.
What can you do to help?
We are asking that anyone visiting our branches follow the same protocols. Additionally, if you do present symptoms of the virus, are under self-isolation, or have been in contact with an individual who has been directed by public health to quarantine, we ask that you PLEASE DO NOT visit our branches and rather call our office, use the ATM, or conduct your daily banking online. Where possible we encourage online banking options to reduce in-person contact in our branches.
For specific information:
As the situation evolves, we will be sure to keep you informed.
We would like to thank you, our members, and our employees for the added efforts and patience during this time.
On behalf of the Compass Credit Union Board, Management and Staff
